Samsung Galaxy S3 price and release round-up

Samsung has announced the Galaxy S3, its new flagship smartphone so here’s a round-up of where you can buy it and how much it will cost you.

The Galaxy S III is available to pre-order from a number of retailers and networks with others just offering a registration page. You’ll be able to get your hands on the device on 30 May.

There are some freebies on offer from The Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U if you get in there quickly. However, Three currently has the cheapest monthly contract price. Stay tuned for more details as we find them out.

The Carphone Warehouse

The best deal we’ve seen is available at The Carphone Warehouse. The firm is offering the Galaxy S III for free on a £36 per month tariff with a free Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, InvisibleSHIELD screen protector and in-car micro USB charger. However, this is only available to the first 1,000 customers to place a pre-order for a contract deal online or via the call centre so hurry to grab this one.

If you miss the deal you’ll still get a free Sandisk 32GB micro SD memory card, InvisibleSHIELD screen protector and in-car micro USB charger.

Those not wanting to be tied down to a contact can get the Galaxy S3 for £499 SIM-free.

Phones 4U

Pre-order at Phones 4U and you’ll get some free goodies. Contracts start at £36 per month with the Galaxy S III included for free. The firm will give you a ‘premium accessory bundle’ but hasn’t said what comes in it yet.

Vodafone

For the month after the Galaxy S3 goes on sale Vodafone will be the only offering 16GB and 32GB storage options. It is yet to announce pricing for the smartphone.

Three

The Galaxy SIII will be available from Three on ‘The One Plan’ with all-you-can-eat data at £34 per month (24 month contract) and no upfront cost.

O2

O2 will sell the Galaxy S3 but hasn’t announced its prices yet. We’ll update you as soon as we find out.

Orange

The firm is in the same boat as O2 so we’ll update you when it releases details.

T-Mobile

Sorry for sounding like a broken record but T-Mobile has also announced it will sell the Galaxy S3 but hasn’t decide how much it will cost.
