Nokia C2-03, C2-06 now in India

IN ORDER to cope with this market gap, the Finnish company on Wednesday launched two new phones: C2-03 and Nokia C2-06 in Chennai. Both these phones have a dual-SIM facility, accompanied with touch and type feature, web, maps, messaging service, stereo FM radio, media player, expandable memory (up to 32 GB).

Nokia C2-03 is the dual-SIM version of C2-02 phone, a user can personalise up to 5 SIM cards, while rest of the features are the same. SIM cards can be changed without turning off the phone of removing the batter. It’s a slider phone with 10 MB memory, a 2.0 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.

Nokia C2-06, too, is a slider phone, and is available in a variety of colours. The phone comes with new Nokia Maps for Series 40, which allows a user to check out maps and plan routes even when the phone is in offline mode, thus saving on the download money. It has a 10 MB memory, a 2.0 megapixel camera, Ovi Maps, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and a micro-USB.

These phones also have an interesting data compression feature, which allows them to download stuff at a faster pace, while at the same time reducing the surfing cost. The estimated cost of the two phones is approximately Rs 5,000.
