Samsung launched its much awaited Galaxy Tab 10.1 at a glittering event in New Delhi. The sleek tablet comes at a price tag that matches the Apple iPad and will be available by the end of the month in Indian markets.

Samsung finally launched its much awaited Android Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 inch versions in India.
The products were launched at a ceremony in Delhi, graced by Bollywood actor Lara Dutta.
At Rs 36,200, the 10.1 inch tablet PC matches the price at which Apple's iPad is sold in India.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 come with the latest Android 3.1 Honeycomb operating system.
Features of the tablet PC include 720p HD recording, 3 mega pixel cameras, and an HD display.
At just 8.6 mm wide and 565 grams heavy, the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 is the 'thinnest and lightest large screen tablet available', claims the company.
The Tab 10.1 has a 1GHz dualcore NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and comes in 16/32/64 GB(ROM) versions.
The 'Live Panel' allows content to be instantly accessed from the home screen and gives constantly refreshed real time data updates.
The mini apps allows easy access to commonly-used features such as calendar, PenMemo or Task Manager - to be launched as a pop up over full screen applications.
