Samsung Galaxy S2, iPhone 5 release date September 5, Aug 12

The war of titans is set to go up one level with the release date of Samsung Galaxy S2, and iPhone 5 expected on Aug 12 and September 5 respectively

Samsung Galaxy S2 is set to be released in the US and the excitement couldn’t have been higher. Every Android lover wants to have the latest Samsung Baby that has already been sold in millions across the world including Europe and Apple seems to be quite unnerved about it.
If reports are to be believed, Samsung left behind Apple in terms of overall sales of smart phone. It has several Samsung Galaxy variants in the market and many of them are still being sold like hot cakes. Apple watchers are saying if the condition has become so frustrating even prior to the launch of Samsung Galaxy S2, what will happen with this dog eat dog sort of competition in the market.
Meanwhile Apple and Samsung are turning out to be the biggest competitors for the dominance, with HTC and Motorola who also have some great smart phones in their kitty trying to spoil the party of the two.
The surprise of the surprise are reports that tell that South Korean tech behemoth Samsung has already sold more than three million units of Galaxy S2, that is awaiting the launch in the most lucrative smart phone market, United States of America. In some European market it has badly affected Apple iPhone market. For example it is the highest selling smart phone.
According to the reports that have filtered routinely from Seoul, Samsung is launching its best bet in the Android and smart phone market on all the major telecom services including T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint and AT&T. All the four telecom majors would be selling it in four different names.
This seems that Samsung is launching CDMA version of Galaxy S2. In the otherwise case it wouldn’t have launched it on Verizon. Apple too sells its CDMA iPhone 4 on Verizon, the largest cellular network in the US. On Verizon, Samsung Galaxy Tab would be known as Function.
Now reports suggest that Apple’s best bet iPhone 5 would be launched in September. PC Magazine has predicted the date to be September 5. So we should wait for the war of titans to begin. Consumers are going to have the last laugh.
