Nokia Sea Ray Handset Caught on Tape Running Windows Phone 7

What we’ve got here is the Nokia N9 which is going to be released running Windows Phone 7, the code name for this project is “Sea Ray” and it looks/sounds like its been caught on tape in the factory. It looks exactly like the phone Nokia CEO Stephen Elop showed off recently, but this is running a near-final version of Mango. From what we’ve gathered from reading a few different sites its the RTM version (release to manufacturer) which indicates that its close to the final production run. If you’re after a build number it appears its 7710, if you check out the video below you’ll notice that there is a new boot screen and 7 logo.

There are rumors that Fujitsu is going to beat Nokia to market with a WP7 handset in August, so its starting to sound like a September release is going to be a reality.
